New: Government Clinics to Charge Rm10 Per Patients? Fake News Says Fahmi

Lately, social media networks, from Facebook to TikTok, there have been persistent rumours that the government will increase the RM1 charge for new patients to RM10. Some posts on social media are attacking PM Anwar Ibrahim directly saying he is responsible for the increase. But so far, there has been NO OFFICIAL statement from MOH that such an increase is coming.

The clinics, or KK as people know them, are not increasing their fees insists Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil in a video on the X platform. His denial of the fee rise came after multiple posts on X said there is a fake news spreading like wildfire regarding such fees at the KKs. Take note.
