Tiger Stripes by Amanda Nell, only Malaysian Entry at Cannes, to Screen Locally Now

Amanda Nell Eu’s debut feature film, “Tiger Stripes,” is set to hit Malaysian cinemas in October after gaining international acclaim. The film, which was the only Malaysian entry at the Cannes Film Festival this year, received awards at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival and Fantasia International Film Festival.

Supported by the Communication and Digital Ministry, the film will also see releases in Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, the UK, and North America. This is a coming-of-age horror story about a girl named Zaffan dealing with puberty and self-discovery amidst a terrifying transformation of her body.
