It is rather ironic as the language and food are nearly similar to each other. However, a broadcaster has stepped up this drama after making this controversial statement.

There are some bold accusations among Malaysians stating that the media is gaslighting Indonesians. However, the comments are rather harsh towards our neighbor. Netizens are pointing out the flaws in said country, but we also have our own solid flaws.
There are those from our neighbouring country apologizing under the post, regardless if it isn’t their fault. They claim that others in their country would understand the situation and that Malaysia has nothing to do with the recent floods.
