The country’s leading men’s singles player, Lee Zii Jia was at his best after knocking out world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand at the Hangzhou Asian Games today. The 16th-ranked player in the world even joked with the local media when he said he still had a lot of energy after the match.

Playing in the round of 16 at a packed Binjiang Gymnasium, Zii Jia sparked a sensational comeback to win 10-21, 21-19, 21-6 in less than an hour. It is clear that Kunlavut’s stamina is decreasing, each player has a different body condition but Zii Jia’s performance was commanding.
