In the findings from its #ShopSafeWithShopee survey, the report says 9 out of 10 Malaysians prefer Shopee for secure online shopping. Additionally, 8 out of 10 Malaysians believe the platform offers the best support against scams when shopping online.

The key factors influencing Malaysian buyers’ platform choices for online shopping include secure payment methods, transparent return and refund policies, authentic and verified products, and effective customer service resolutions. Shoppers aged 35 to 49 prioritize safety in transactions, while younger buyers aged 18 to 34 emphasize a platform’s popularity and product variety.
