A recent survey conducted by the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) reveals alarming trends in the healthcare sector, indicating that Malaysian doctors face excessive workloads, bullying, and burnout. The survey, involving 728 Malaysian doctors from both public and private healthcare sectors, showed that 30% to 40% of doctors experienced some form of bullying in their careers, with a total of 253 reported bullying cases.
