The Wife from Hell? Have You Heard of Such a Thing Now?

A video depicting a daughter-in-law’s aggressive behavior towards her mother-in-law has gone viral in Thane, Maharashtra, India. The incident occurred on September 14, 2023, as captured by a hidden CCTV camera installed by the husband. In the footage, the wife, Komal Lalit Dayaramani, aged 53, is seen verbally abusing and physically dragging her mother-in-law before pushing her out the door.

The elderly woman tried to resist but was unsuccessful, ending up in pain on the floor. Komal, who works as an insurance agent, claimed her mother-in-law’s constant nagging and presence infringed on her privacy, leading to the altercation. Charges have been filed, and an investigation is underway based on the evidence presented. Komal faces charges under various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
