In Malaysia, it seems that we are more popular for our toll booths rather than our actual roads. Apparently, there is a rumor that is floating around stating that a new toll is to be built on the road headed to Genting. The location is where at times, youngsters would tend to go for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur.

No excitement towards Genting toll

However, some users state that the Genting road is privately owned, and there is nothing the government can do about it. Furthermore, unless there is a new road built by the federal government, it seems that payment for the road is inevitable.

Some are questioning that the government still needs to sign off these ideas before implementations can happen. Following that, users speculate that this is to be considered as an entry fee into the area, as there are no toll booths for the roads exiting the location.
