Sir Bobby Charlton dies aged 86 surrounded by family after long battle with dementia. His passing leaves just Sir Geoff Hurst alive from the team of heroes who won the World Cup in 1966.

The England and Manchester United legend spent the majority of his professional career at Manchester United, scoring 249 goals in 758 games for the club. He won three league titles, a European Cup and an FA Cup with United during 17 years at Old Trafford.
