Netizens are enjoying the roasting that Pagoh MP ex-PM Muhyiddin Yassin received in Parliament from Minister of Home Affairs Saifuddin Nasution on ‘free speech’. Muhyiddin says he is being called many times by the police on their investigations for speeches he delivered for PN during elections. He mentioned in this country there is freedom of speech and he did not attack anyone in his speeches.

Replying to Muhyiddin, the Minister, backed with facts, mentioned how Muhyiddin during the election campaigns sullied the name of the leaders of the PH saying the ruling coalition was an agent of the Israeli regime, for example. The minister then said this cannot be accepted and when such stuff is mentioned, such as Hadi Awang’s statement that PH had in 22 months in power threatened the rights of Malays and removed Islam from the government affairs, the police had to call them to investigate.
