Leicester secured their eighth consecutive league win, outlasting Sunderland 1-0 to maintain an eight-point lead in the Championship. James Justin’s first-half header, stemming from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s 12th-minute corner, settled the contest and marked his first league goal for the club in over two years.

Despite twice striking the post and missing other opportunities to increase their lead, the Foxes dominated as Sunderland slumped to their third successive loss. West Brom reclaimed a spot in the top six with a 2-0 victory over 10-man QPR, while Cardiff surged to a 4-0 win against Huddersfield. Middlesbrough achieved their sixth consecutive league win against Norwich, ending 2-1.

Blackburn sits just one point off the playoff spots after a 2-1 win over managerless Millwall. Watford emerged victorious with a 1-0 scoreline against Swansea, thanks to Ken Sema’s late powerful shot.
