Kulim District Authorities Now Detain Couple Over Alleged Indecency in Taman Mutiara

A couple working in the carnival industry was apprehended by the Kulim District Religious Office (PADK) authorities for suspected indecent behavior in Taman Mutiara, Sungai Kob, last night.

The 23-year-old couple was taken into custody at the woman’s family home around 12:13 a.m. when her stepmother and stepfather were away, and she brought a male friend home. PADK Enforcement Officer Anwar Sharifudin Mat Saad said the action followed public complaints about the couple’s conduct. 

The investigation revealed that both worked at the carnival site in the housing estate, and the man resided in Sungai Ular.
