Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook also clarified Malaysia’s laws and regulations regarding tinted vehicle windows, debunking the perception that violating these rules could lead to imprisonment. Loke emphasized that while the law allows for up to 6 months of imprisonment for various offences, it isn’t specific to tinted windows. Offenders will typically receive compound notices and may face court action if they fail to pay the fines.
