Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has criticized the decision to reschedule the high-profile clash against Manchester City to a 12.30pm kickoff after the international break, stating it was made by “people who cannot feel football.”
Klopp slams decision for match timing
Originally planned for 5.30pm, the change was prompted by safety concerns. He expressed incredulity at the decision, emphasizing the challenges of preparing for such a significant game on Saturday at 12.30pm.
Despite the scheduling, Liverpool moved to second place after a convincing 3-0 win against Brentford, with Mohamed Salah scoring two goals. Klopp believes his team, featuring numerous international players, has more to showcase in the challenging Premier League.
