Despite initial hesitations, her career frustrations and concerns about her financial future post-retirement led her to take the plunge. Pei Jing explained that Dobevil posed as a legitimate cross-border e-commerce platform, but her impulsive decision and misplaced trust resulted in significant financial loss.
