KUALA LUMPUR – The Malaysian Animal Association is offering a RM3,000 reward for information leading to the identification of a man seen butchering a cat at Meru Market, Klang, Selangor. In a Facebook post on Monday, the association revealed that the suspect is believed to be a worker at a nearby snack shop and resides in Batu Belah, Klang.
According to the association, a video shows the man, likely of Myanmar origin, speaking in accented Malay. A thorough investigation is needed to determine the method and motive behind the cat’s killing. Witnesses are urged to provide information via WhatsApp at 014-6345464.
