Police confirmed two teenage suspects are dead after a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego on May 18. Three men, including a security guard, were killed inside the mosque, located in the Clairemont area — the largest in San Diego County. Authorities said the suspects’ bodies were found in a nearby vehicle.

The FBI is treating the incident as a hate crime. Preliminary reports indicate the threat has been neutralised. The mosque was cordoned off as investigators gathered evidence. Families and worshippers expressed shock at the attack, which has raised concerns over rising hate-motivated violence.
