Over 100,000 people joined far-right activist Tommy Robinson’s “Unite the Kingdom” rally in London, which turned violent as some supporters clashed with police separating them from counter-protesters.

Officers were assaulted with punches and bottles, prompting riot gear reinforcements. Robinson, known for anti-Islam rhetoric, drew support from European far-right figures and Elon Musk, who condemned migration policies. 

Counter-protesters chanted “refugees welcome” and “smash the far right.” The rally coincided with rising tensions over asylum-seekers and nationalist sentiment across the U.K. Nine arrests were made, with more expected. The event also paid tribute to slain U.S. activist Charlie Kirk, sparking further controversy.
