KAJANG – An 11-year-old boy died while his two younger brothers remain hospitalised after allegedly being given methadone by their mother in Sungai Ramal Baru today. The incident came to light when all three children were rushed unconscious to Hospital Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin around 7.50am.
Methadone causes kids death
The eldest was pronounced dead during treatment, while his five-year-old brother is in intensive care and the nine-year-old is treated in the emergency red zone. Police confirmed the mother, aged 35, had administered the substance. Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar said investigations are ongoing into the tragic case.
