Authorities in Johor Bahru uncovered a grim discovery when skeletal remains of six individuals were found in a burnt, abandoned house at Kangkar Pulai, Skudai. The case began when a 48-year-old man reported searching for his estranged wife and five children.

Police investigations revealed the remains of two adults—a 29-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman—alongside four children aged 17, 9, 5, and 2. Forensic examinations confirmed the identities and suggested foul play. The house, located within a palm oil plantation, had been destroyed by fire earlier this month, intensifying suspicions of murder.
