Thousands gathered in Johor to witness Sultan Ibrahim’s departure to Kuala Lumpur for his oath as Malaysia’s 17th King. Dressed in ceremonial attire, Sultan Ibrahim left Istana Bukit Serene accompanied by state officials. About 30,000 people, including students and civil servants, observed the departure along the route to Senai International Airport.
