Unfortunately for the new Emergency App, SaveME999 social media users aren’t too keen with the whole idea of it. Furthermore, with the alleged development costs is an uncomfortable topic among social media users. Many have tried to register, but most fail to receive the verification code.

Many expressed their fears of not being able to get to the app. An X user boldly states that if someone had no internet connection at all, would they even be able to make it alive if an accident were to happen to them? 

Now it seems that the old phone-in number is back on, to which social media users also had a lot to say regarding that. 

There are a plethora of opinions shared online, and it seems that the app trend is no longer a thing that Malaysians want. As the saying goes, “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”
