The aircraft, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, had encountered technical issues during its inaugural Melbourne flight on December 19, leading to the cancellation of a subsequent flight. CEO Datuk Captain Izham Ismail emphasized safety as the top priority and called for accountability from Airbus and Rolls-Royce, citing factory production faults as the root cause. Rolls-Royce has begun component replacements, and Airbus is providing technical support to resolve the problems and ensure operational reliability.
