Malaysian film “Abang Adik” directed by Jin Ong secured three awards at the Sea Okinawa Pan-Pacific International Film Festival. The film won Best Lead Performance, Jury Award, and Audience Award, surpassing eight competitors.

‘Abang Adik’
It marks the seventh international film festival win for the film in 2023. Jin Ong, a veteran producer in the Malaysian Chinese entertainment industry, expressed surprise and happiness over the Japanese audience’s positive reception. The film is set for release in Malaysia on December 14, with premieres in Taiwan on December 1 and Hong Kong on December 7.
