Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has hit back at claims he is afraid to contest in GE16, poking fun at his critic Isham Jalil for suggesting he was running away. In a cheeky Facebook post, Rafizi said Isham had always held a grudge against him, from losing school debates to watching Rafizi’s exposes on 1MDB cost him his cushy job as a prime ministerial aide. “I’m not the type to sue just because I got kicked out of a WhatsApp group,” Rafizi quipped, adding that unlike his critics, he wins big whenever he contests – and doesn’t need group chats for validation.
