State Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad clarified the motive stems from personal financial disputes rather than religious hatred. Investigations revealed the same perpetrators previously threw paint at the shop. Authorities now pursue the suspects under Sections 504 and 506 of the Penal Code for intentional insult and criminal intimidation. Police warned the public against spreading false narratives regarding the incident.
