Digital Ministry Launches AI Training to Empower Civil Servants

The Digital Ministry trained 200 individuals from various government agencies under the ‘Train-the-Trainer’ programme, part of the ‘AI At Work 2.0’ initiative. Conducted from March 3 to 7 in Putrajaya, the programme equips civil servants to efficiently use AI for tasks like content creation, data analysis, and information summarisation.

Digital Ministry Launches AI Training to Empower Civil Servants

In collaboration with Google Cloud, JDN, and NAIO, the initiative aims to provide 445,000 officers with AI tools like Google Workspace’s Gemini. Feedback from last year’s participants showed improved productivity, saving an average of 3.25 hours weekly. The programme supports Malaysia’s digitalisation goals by fostering AI adoption and organisational transformation.
