LONDON, Feb 19 — Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew and the younger brother of King Charles III, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Police confirmed the arrest of a man in his sixties from Norfolk, with searches carried out at multiple properties.

The investigation follows allegations that Mountbatten-Windsor passed confidential government documents to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to recently released U.S. files. He has consistently denied wrongdoing but admitted regretting his friendship with Epstein. King Charles reacted by saying “the law must take its course.” Mountbatten-Windsor has been released under investigation.
