Anwar praised Trump’s bold diplomacy and shared a light-hearted moment when Trump invited him to ride in “The Beast,” defying protocol. The accord, signed during the ASEAN Summit, marks a major diplomatic breakthrough, with Anwar and Trump playing key roles in brokering the ceasefire.
Their July 28 meeting in Putrajaya helped ease tensions, and the accord is now seen as a milestone in regional peace and ASEAN-led conflict resolution.
