Meanwhile, the Malaysian government says it is committed to improving the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of public service delivery to ensure the well-being of the people and ease of doing business.

MADANI Bitara Project

The Malaysia MADANI Action Council has agreed to implement and expand the MADANI Bitara Project through the Special Task Force for Public Sector Reform (STAR). The focus will be on resolving difficulties and issues faced by the people.

Two new projects under MADANI Bitara are upgrading facilities under the Ministry of Health and expanding the implementation of MADANI Counters.

The government is taking immediate steps to improve 436 health facilities and clinics, while selected local authorities will upgrade 20 food courts.

These projects follow the principles of the MADANI Malaysia concept and employ a “Whole of Government” approach, involving senior civil servants from relevant ministries to ensure comprehensive evaluation and implementation.

With a focus on low costs, immediate solutions, and the utilization of existing resources, these projects align with the reform agenda for efficient and quality public service delivery, directly benefiting the people.
