Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dismissed claims that multibillion-ringgit investments in Malaysia have not yielded results, highlighting an 86.4% implementation rate for 3,494 approved manufacturing projects from 2021 to June 2025.

He said over 3,000 projects are operational, with 50,000 new jobs created and median wages rising to RM2,745 in Q1 2025. Anwar directed MITI Minister Tengku Zafrul to publicise data from key regions, reinforcing transparency.
He also praised the Invest Malaysia Facilitation Centre (IMFC) for resolving 99.9% of over 28,000 investor applications, asserting that the civil service has played a key role in ensuring investment translates into real economic benefits.
