SHAH ALAM – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim dismissed PAS’ calls for his resignation over the royal addendum allowing former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to serve his remaining prison sentence under house arrest. When questioned about the matter during the Malaysia Economic Forum at KLCC, Anwar smiled and simply responded with “oooh” before leaving with his delegation. PAS made the demand following confirmation of the royal directive from Istana Pahang. PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari accused Anwar of concealing the matter, while Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin labeled the alleged cover-up a betrayal.
