Apple has unveiled the MacBook Neo, its most affordable laptop yet at $599 (RM2,499), marking a bold entry into the low-end market dominated by Windows PCs and Chromebooks.

The 13-inch device runs on the iPhone A18 Pro chip — the first time Apple has used a smartphone processor in a Mac — and offers up to 16 hours of battery life.
Available in citrus, silver, indigo, and blush, the Neo includes 256GB storage, with a $699 (RM2,799) model doubling capacity and adding Touch ID. Education buyers get $100 (RM400) off, dropping the entry price to $499 (RM2,000). Pre-orders began Wednesday, with deliveries starting March 11.
