Police have arrested a 53-year-old man suspected of murdering Norshamira Zainal, a 37-year-old food vendor, whose body was found near the Kuantan River by the Tanjung Lumpur Bridge on February 13. The suspect was detained early Saturday in Kuala Terengganu by a joint police team. Authorities seized various items as evidence, and a remand application will be made in court. District Police Chief ACP Wan Mohd Zahari confirmed the case was solved and thanked the public for their help. The Pahang Sultan had earlier called for a swift resolution to the case.
