IPOH: Cosmetics entrepreneur Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, widely known as Datuk Vida, faces legal action after failing to settle a debt of over RM1 million. The debt arose from unpaid costs for converting her Shah Alam factory into a studio. On Monday, an Ipoh High Court bailiff sealed her house and four cars after a writ of seizure and sale was issued by the Kuala Lumpur High Court. Vida, currently abroad, has until December 9 to clear the debt or risk auctioning her possessions. Subcontractor Mohamad Taufik, pursuing payment since 2018, expressed frustration over the prolonged ordeal.
