Live action of the 2021/22 season to be showcased in multiple markets

For the very first time, Malaysia’s Sepak Takraw League (STL) will be available to sepak takraw fans in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Hong Kong. Fans in the region can look forward to live high-flying sports action of the Emas Anuar STL 2021/22 season from 7 January until 26 March 2022 on ELEVEN’s global OTT platform ELEVENSPORTS.com.

This is made possible by Astro’s partnership with the international broadcaster for a 4-year exclusive broadcast rights deal to STL.

Nicholas John, Head of Sports at Astro said, “STL is one of the first sports IPs that is born and bred in Malaysia to be recognised by an international broadcaster and for it to be shown alongside sports properties carried by ELEVENSPORTS.com such as the 2022 AFC Cup. We along with the Malaysian Sepak Takraw Association (PSM) and our sponsors are committed to drive this local sport and hope to inspire new sepak takraw fans in the region.
