A family in Serdang was left shaken after two separate attacks destroyed their vehicles and threatened their safety. The wife of activist Cikgu Chandra recalled hiding in fear with her child after hearing commotion outside, only to discover their Proton Ertiga had been set ablaze. Later, while she was at work, assailants returned and torched the family’s Perodua Viva.

Chandra said the Proton Ertiga, used for e-hailing, was completely destroyed, while the Viva and a Perodua Bezza were also damaged. CCTV footage showed six masked men with a parang arriving in two cars, breaking windows and attempting to force entry. Hours later, they hurled a petrol bomb, causing further destruction.
