The Aussie PM, Hon Anthony Albanese was sworn in as the 31st Prime Minister of Australia on 23 May 2022 and he told PM Anwar Ibrahim that he was inspired by our PM10 for his long political struggle.
HE says Malaysia and Australia are very good friends and would continue this friendship under Anwar as PM. Anwar replied with humility as usual to the Australian PM saying the latter should not envy him (because he went through a lot of pain in his political struggle).
Meanwhile, in Malaysia, looks like half or more of the country is still living in a different reality – perhaps one where they are so spoon-fed that they don’t see how Anwar is changing the political game.
