New: Badminton Stars Goh and Lai tie the knot

Malaysian badminton stars Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai Jemie tied the knot at The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort in Bukit Tinggi. The event was on May 4. Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow players, including coach Rosman Razak and Olympic champion Greysia Polii, they celebrated their union.

Goh and Lai, who announced their relationship in 2021, got engaged on December 27, 2022. Despite missing out on the Paris Olympics, their recent victory at the Swiss Open as a mixed pair adds another highlight to their partnership, which began in October 2016 and now extends to their personal lives.
