Yesterday, Twitter was ablaze with netizens complaining about Bank Islam’s app crashing. This is bad as a bank app is vital for users to perform transactions that may be urgent or important. Furthermore, it is concerning if a customer is unable to check their bank balance at any given time.

It went to the point where insurance agents are stating that their clients were having payment issues due to Bank Islam having technical issues with the app. This is due to the agents wanting their clients to settle their payments. Furthermore, netizens are stating that it is under heavy traffic today as well.
In addition to this, netizens making online transactions now will have to wait for a long period of time to approve them. Complaints of the bank’s previous methods of sending a TAC code was more efficient than their new app are a popular one.
Netizens are also stating that the bank is trying to copy Maybank’s MAE app, but it seems that they are failing to do so. This is due to Maybank having extensive research and development done towards their app in order to make it one of the more efficient and stable banking apps in the country.
