A resident of Rumah Bonda and a witness in the case has admitted that the burn marks suffered by Bella were due to hot water from a thermos flask and not from a water dispenser.
Previously, Yasmin Nahar Mahmood, 19, told the court that Siti Bainun ordered her to splash hot water from the water dispenser on Bella three times a week using a yellow plastic cup without a handle and a syringe.
Yasmin agreed with lawyer Nurul Hafidzah Hassan, who is representing Rumah Bonda founder Siti Bainun Ahd Razali, who suggested that Bella was playing with the flask in the laundry room of a condominium in Wangsa Maju before the water in the flask spilt on her.
