Bersatu Leader Slams ‘Selective Prosecution’ in Sabah Mining Scandal

Bersatu Information Chief Tun Faisal Aziz has questioned what he described as selective prosecution favoring Pakatan Harapan’s ally, Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), whose leaders are implicated in a mining scandal. 

Bersatu Leader Slams Prosecution Selectiveness

He warned that such perceptions damage public trust in law enforcement and the judiciary, urging the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) not to ignore revelations by businessman Albert Tei. 

The upcoming “Tangkap Jerung” rally reflects public frustration that only “small fish” have been charged while senior figures remain untouched. Since November, over a dozen politicians have been linked to the scandal, yet only Tei and two state assemblymen face charges.
