BlackBerry Sets Up Regional Cybersecurity HQ in Cyberjaya

Canada-based BlackBerry Ltd has launched its Asia Pacific (APAC) regional headquarters for cybersecurity in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, now fully operational. The new HQ and regional expansion demonstrate BlackBerry’s commitment to the Malaysian government, following a cybersecurity agreement in November 2023.

BlackBerry collaborated with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to establish the Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence, a training facility for the nation’s workforce. Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil welcomed this, highlighting the benefits for Malaysia and the region.
