Bosses not allowed to reject resignation letters
An X user responds by saying that both the HR and the boss need to give the employee’s final day and calculate their leave balance. Resigning from one’s job is not a recommendation that needs to be approved, said another user.
Another user claims their boss withheld their salary in lieu of their notice period. It is unclear what was signed in their contract but typically those not serving notice may have to pay a penalty.
