KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 5 — The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has not received any reports about alleged MyKad data leaks being sold on the dark web. Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) deputy director Datuk Rohaimi Md Isa confirmed that investigations by the Cyber and Multimedia Crime Investigation Division found no evidence supporting the claim.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail assured Malaysians that thorough inspections by security agencies, including the National Registration Department (JPN), revealed the allegation to be false. He emphasized that MyKad data security is intact despite online claims by an X-site user, Fusion Intelligence Center.
