Social media users are upset with this information citing that these operators are comfortable with using foreign labour to save cost, but are uncomfortable with washing Malaysian cars. An X user states that such establishments should close down.
Others are justifying this claiming that the service could be mirroring Singaporean prices, hence the refusal of serving Malaysian cars. But, netizens state that the business is still based in Malaysia, hence they would need to price their services according to the Malaysian standard.
