It seems that the smaller brands in the luxury sector like Celine are reducing the prices of their merchandise by having a “price harmonization” in countries like Singapore. The prices of some of their bags dropped by almost RM1,000. It appears that the brand could be suffering from less sales.
Celine rumored to reduce prices
A TikToker shared her observation that the brand has reduced the price of certain bags by S$300. Furthermore, it is very rare to see luxury brands reducing their prices. Typically, a “price harmonization” happens by the brand increasing prices where their items are cheaper due to the currency exchange.
Others feel that this is a marketing tactic and the prices are going to go up again anyways. However, the TikToker claims to have confirmed the price decrease through her sales associate.
