A low-cost airline’s co-founders and major stockholders have been held for a four-day remand. They had previously been taken to Jinjang’s Centralised Lock-Up. Their imprisonment is connected to an investigation under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.

This is according to Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf, Director of Bukit Aman’s Commercial Crimes Investigation Department. The 57-year-old Datuk, his 55-year-old wife, and their 26-year-old son were all arrested at their Shah Alam home at 5:30 PM, and he verified that a four-day remand had been approved for them.
According to reports, the low-cost airline stopped operating. This suspension is in place until a later time that will be specified. Co-founders and stockholders of the airline may have been involved in dishonest business practices, according to earlier reports.
