Coach is known to be a very successful mid-ranged brand. They have appeared to be capturing the “aspirational” audience that was shunned out of Chanel, Gucci, Dior with their massive price increases. However, it is peculiar to see a standard handbag being sold for RM19,000.
Coach selling bags that costs RM19,000?
At the time of writing this, it appears that some models of this bag are selling for RM2,850. It is presumably that these bags would cost around that much, and the ones that were to have an extra “0” behind its price tag would be those suffering from a technical glitch.
Regardless, is it possible for the brand to quite literally increase its prices in order to compete with the likes of Gucci and Chanel? We will simply have to wait and see.
