It is a colourful Christmas Wonderland in Melaka’s Portuguese settlement with decorations that will mesmerise your eyes, a Singapore news site paid a visit to the settlement seeing that several houses had already been decorated with coloured bulbs, bells, blinking lights, advent candles, and Christmas trees among others.

The community, which is now home to about 140 families, was founded in the 1930s by two Portuguese priests who asked for a plot of land for the community and is home to several Portuguese eateries and is a well-liked tourist destination all year round, is situated close to the Straits of Melaka.
There are more reasons to go to the settlement at Christmastime and take part in the wonderful celebrations there.
